The Building You Are In

This completely renovated (in 2021) ground floor apartment is part of a beautiful restored Victorian building (just three flats in the entire building) with sleep being paramount for our guests. Each floor is fitted with sound-proofing material to meet the building regulation requirements (along with thick carpets) between the floors and double-glazed windows.

Ground Floor Access

For those that need ground floor access, there is only a small step into the building and the flat is all on one level after that.

Lounge Diner

This superior accommodation consists of a large open-plan lounge dining area with a brand-new smart TV (Netflix and Freeview). There is also another breakfast bar / work area with 2 stools for setting up your laptop / computer for home working.

There is a dining set with seating for two and extendable table for sit down meals. We have also included a very nice and comfy 2 bed sofa for long stays and a second casual chair. The comfortable couch opens into a small double bed if required.

Fully Kitted Out Kitchen

There is a good size kitchen kitted with washing machine / dryer, gas hob, electric fan assisted oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, ironing facilities, hair dryer plus a large fridge freezer. We also make sure you have a week’s supply of dishwasher tablets and washing powders to get you started and a good range of cleaning materials and items.

We make sure our knives are sharp and your pans are not worn out and useless; so annoying when it’s all worn out☺You have everything from a set of placemats, pizza cutters to champagne flutes. We want you to enjoy your stays with us and stay on as long as you like!

Laundry and Heating

For those on contract or on insurance stays we know you need everything ready, and we want to hit the ground running, so we make sure you can get your clothes all sorted ASAP. There is a brand-new washer dryer, iron, and ironing board to catch up on laundry.
The flat is heated by gas controlled thermostatic heating and easy to use and set. The same gas boiler system also provides instant hot water as required.

Double Bedroom

The bedroom comes with a brand new standard double bed and superior mattress (we are particular about getting a good night rest and choose quality mattresses). There is also a large wardrobe to hang plenty of clothes, plus double-glazing windows, smoked glass desk and ergonomic chair to work privately.

Shower Room and WC.

There is a shower room with toilet to the back of the property - well-equipped with towels, soap and shampoo.

Location

This apartment is excellently located within minutes’ walk to the centre of Historic Rochester. Rochester Castle boasts one of the best-preserved and finest examples of Norman architecture in England. And if that’s not enough you can also walk to the famous Rochester Cathedral, England's second oldest, founded by Bishop Justus.

This apartment is part of a luxury conversion of an historical Victorian building with just two other flats in the block, perfect for contractors, families and those seeking a home from home and a quiet stay.
Rochester is full of fantastic restaurants and cafés and you will never be bored during your stay. There is also no-restricted parking on the side roads.
